Meet senior Cross Country runner, Destini Sampson

Destini’s plans after high school are to attend college and major in physical therapy. Sampson mentioned her friend named Darian for being the one to inspire her to do cross country/track and why she also became very dedicated to the sport. "If it wasn’t for her then I wouldn’t be running today." She would also like to thank her coaches Steve Wright, Chris Pelton, and Brenda Mchatton for making cross country/track interesting and for putting in their time, especially Coach Mchatton. Destini is also an active member of AHS Student Council.

Wil Nightengale - University of Oklahoma Drumline

Do you recognize this guy? That’s 2017 Ardmore High School Graduate, Wil Nightengale. Wil studied percussion at OU for three years, and after successfully negotiating a rigorous audition process, is a new member of the prestigious Pride of Oklahoma Drum Line! Way to go Wil!! Ardmore Tiger Proud!!

Meet senior Football player, Jordan Enabnit.

Jordan’s plans after high school is to go to college and play football. He also wants to further his knowledge and then one day go to the NFL. If that doesn’t work out for him, he wants to be a coach and help kids live their dream. Following football Enabit will compete on the wrestling mats. Growing up he watched the NFL which inspired him to participate in sports. Jordan would like to thank all of his Coaches for pushing him so that he can be the best. He would also like to thank him mother and his step dad for helping him get to practice when he needed to.

Meet senior Cheerleader, Diamond McGee

Diamond’s plans after high school are to go to college for business and open her own cheer gym.  McGee mentioned her mother, Kristie being one to inspire and influence her throughout her journey as an Ardmore tiger cheerleader.  She would like to thank her coach Crystal Whitfield and Ashton Widhelm for helping her get this far.  Outside of school Diamond is a member of the Oklahoma Outlaw Cheer team.  This summer she received the “All American Top Dog” award at the OU cheer camp.

Meet senior Football player, Jakwan Anderson.

Jakwan’s plans after high school are to play college football, it has been his dream since first grade. Anderson mentioned his cousin Kevion McGee being one who inspired him to play football.  “Watching him play his senior year when I was was a freshman inspired me to become a great, humble person on and off the field.” He would like to thank his family, friends, and coaches for motivating and pushing him to become a great athlete.  You will also see Anderson this spring running track for the Ardmore Tigers.
